6/3 - Field Day - 9:00am-12:00pm 6/7 - Last Day of School Prevent the summer slide...Please continue to read with your child daily. The public library is a great resource and offers many incentives for summer reading programs. Have your child write about his/her summer activities in a journal. Your child should write 5+ sentences about each adventure. Practice addition and subtraction flash cards, A summer workbook is also helpful. You can purchase a workbook at the Dollar Store, Target, or Walmart. Brain Quest workbooks are both fun and educational. You will continue to have access through the CMS student portal for RAZ kids which is excellent for reading comprehension. Dreambox is a great way to continue to practice math skills. Of, course, enjoy the outside playgrounds and pools! These activities are helpful when writing in your summer journal!
